Marked by google as a Spam number. I received several attempted calls from different numbers within a short time, my phone via google marked all of them as Spam. This was one of them.
I have been blocking all numbers not in my contacts list for over 4 months, finally since a couple of weeks ago they have slowed down, but not stopped. Now they generally call on Monday afternoons, as they did today. Every so often they try several numbers in a row to see if any get through. These guys have ruined it for everybody, now I have to block all numbers including potential clients if they're not in my contacts list, if I think they may be legitimate I call them back from a 2nd number (dual SIM phone) to check. My 2nd number is sacrificial, because if I call a scam number on it they simply add it to their database and I start getting calls. At least they get blocked. It's all to protect my real number but I resent having to do it.
Telstra bragging about blocking 9 million scam calls isn't very impressive, they could do that many in a few hours or less
