Posted on November 11, 2021 Caller type: Scam call Location: Australia
Claimed to be from Visa Security and Fraud team. Questioned me about who I bank with an if I had authorised a transaction to overseas. Wanted me to talk to a technician who would step me through blocking the transaction and setting up an internet firewall. As soon as I asked which bank he was working for he stated Commonwealth Bank and I said I don't bank with them he immediately hung up.
