Scam SMS message about redeeming expiring Telstra Reward Points. If you provide card details, your account will receive transactions from overseas hotels, etc. These are legitimate business that the scammer may have purchased a gift card from etc. Because you authorized the transaction even if it was not for the specified amount, the bank says that you will be liable for the amount scammed.
