The taxi pulled up on the other side of the street from me. I was standing in a clear zone with my large bright coloured suitcase and he said he couldn't find me.

Similar here. 13CABS confirmed a taxi I did not order and also had the wrong address. They sent the message twice around 1 am and wanted me to reply twice. We never use taxis and have never ordered one so I ignored it. I would advise other people not to call back if they know they haven't ordered a taxi. It smells like a scam to get the address connected with a mobile phone number...

Sends sms at 1 am to confirm a taxi that I did not order, at an address I do not know. calling this number only gives a "this mobile number is switched off" message.
