I saved this number and called it "Do not answer - Insurance Line" - so I get the warning next time it rings.

0438 057 233 is a scam caller. Should be ignored and obliterated.

I have missed 3 calls since yesterday from this number. Glad I have been able to find out what it is before I called back. I now won't answer this number. They should give up soon.

Recieved a call from this number on 5/3/2015 also selling Insuranceline from the "Australian Contact Centre". Had missed calls from this number before, telemarketer polite but persistent. Have had this number for 6 years and this has never been an issue before.

I got the same thing: Australian Contact Centre. Can't remember the girl's name, but it was a flower I think? Like Lily or something.

She said she was from the Australian Contact Centre, I said "Could you call back a little later on, I'm in the middle of dinner" and she said "Yeah, whatever" and hung up on me!

Guess she really didn't need my business.

I've had a number of calls from this number - both missed and ones I've answered - in the past week. The first time a gentleman got hold of me he explained he was calling regarding insurance. Today, I had a call during work hours. I asked the lady what it was regarding and explained I was at work. She said she wanted to introduce a company called Insurance Line. I told her that I had already spoken with someone last week but that I wasn't interested; she persisted and asked if the product had been explained to me at all. I then repeated that I wasn't interested and that I was at work so couldn't discuss it further, then hung up.

I don't like hanging up on people, but if I say I'm at work and can't talk, I mean it. This persistant style of telemarketing is really frustrating! If I want to know about a product, I'll Google it and find the companies who can deliver it myself!

I received a call from this phone number. Some person being from the "Australian Contact Centre" whatever that means flogging Insurance. Had to hang up on the persistent so and so.

Australian Insurance, or something similar. Told them my partner worked in the industry and they politely ended the call. Not happy they call from a mobile number.

Just received a call from these people. Arrogant little man. Talked quickly with an accent from Contract Qld? or something similar. Call regarding funeral plans. I asked how he got my number. He said most likely from a competition or white pages. I asked him to delete my number and then he hung up. Very rude. I feel for the poster who was called on chinese new year. They're taking cold calling to a whole new level by calling from a mobile number...

I typically don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't know or recognise.
If it is important enough people will make the effort to leave a message.

So today when I got a call from 0438 057 233 and no message was left behind, I checked with Reverse Australia and now have blocked this caller on my phone.

Funeral insurance! I told the lady politely I was running late for work and I couldn't talk, she hung up on me mid sentence. Seriously?? Are they allowed to get away with this?

I kept saying 'No, I don't want funeral insurance, i'm only 24, i'm knee deep in work right now, please, I don't want to waste your time" Only to be called a d*ckhead?

These dodgy pricks were calling me within hours of activating a new sim with new number. I hadn't even made a single call off it or given my new number to anyone! It's either a random number generator or the telcos are handing out numbers

Got a miss call today.

SMS back no reply. Called back no answer.

Received call 2 days in a row both times said I'm not interested but they don't get the point arrogant little bastard the second time I have a Samsung mobile and they are calling from mobile number so have added to my reject list hopefully it works never used this feature before

I said I can't take calls I am working - she said 'so am I' - I said look I can't take personal call - she said 'well don't answer your phone"
