Caller: Scammer Received call 21/10/20. Recorded robotic-sounding female voice claiming I had numerous arrest warrants for outstanding taxes owed to the ATO. Recording claimed ATO had been provided my details by the Department of Homeland Security. Recordibg asked me to press 1 to speak with an “investigator,” which I did just for fun (thought I’d waste their time). Male with Indian accent answered and asked how he could help me. Told him, you tell me, you called me. Claimed it was all automated and tried to get me to start handing over details. Hung up when i refused. 100% scam. Don’t be fooled - visit ATO website if still concerned.
