Caller: Cherrybrook Medical Centre I received several texts on various days to my unlisted number which read "Great news, you qualify for Telehealth consultations with your doctor at Cherrybrook Medical Centre. Please call us & book an appointment on 94845676.
I had never heard of this medical centre, & my doctor does not practice there.
How many others have received such messages?
Upon contacting the practice manager& asking what the criteria is for sending these, the reply "if SELECTED patients meet certain criteria, they receive the text".
Neither my name nor details were divulged to the manager.
