Caller: Purported to be from NAB

A person called Denise rang from this number and left a message saying she was from NAB and wanted to talk to me about a non urgent banking matter. I did not call back as NAB officers do not call from mobile numbers - they call from a generic bank number and instruct you to call back using the sane generic number. I’m assuming this call was a scam attempt. I did not return the call

Caller: "Denise" from "Nab"

"Denise" from "Nab" left a voicemail asking me to call back to discuss a non-urgent banking matter. I phoned Nab's public fraud line and asked them to check whether any notes were on my file. They said no, and that this is almost certainly a scam call. Customers should not return this call.

Caller: Returned a missed call from the number -

Returned missed call - person answered saying they were the bank manager at my banks branch and they were just calling to check in how I am going with all my banking with rate rises and everything else. I don’t have a mortgage with the bank they said they were calling from . It seemed very ‘ suspicious ‘ to me . Why call from a mobile and why not call from a land line.
