This number seems to be used by scammers on a fishing expedition asking me to provide my credit card details for a restaurant booking I made. I am sick and tired of these dumb bastards.

Scam text: "Booked: Railway Hotel South Melbourne for 3 on 15/12/24............blah" with link to "see more"....don't think so!!!

Message received for Belrose hotel in NSW. I didn’t make a booking, so either a scam or an incorrect phone number entered when someone made a booking.

Scammer text asking for credit card details to hold booking at Eastwoods Dining & Bar. Gave two different links to click on. I instead blocked and deleted.

Got ANOTHER message from them, this time including "Reply 1 to confirm. Call [number] to cancel" - Def scammers now

(supposedley) confirmation for a booked table at Gondola Gondola with a link to manage the bookin gon OpenTable as well as prompt to reply 'STOP' to end msg & that data rate may apply. Either someone did a number switch or it's a scam, I'm not about to find out by clicking the link

Caller: Online restaurant booking service

I booked a restaurant at Bankstown Sports Club and I received a text confirming the booking via SMS immediately after the booking. Then the day before our booking date I received another text as reminder and confirmation of the booking by replying 1. I don't think this is a scam. If someone received this text and thought it was a scam, it is probably a number incorrectly added when booking the restaurant online. Maybe this was done intentionally??

Scam text message advising restaurant booking at Arts Centre with suss link. Blocked and reported.

text message received for today's booking which I did not book, of course! SCAM!!!
"Booked: JBird Cantina for 2 on 20/12/23 Wed 7.30pm. See more: e.opn.tl/xxxx (I have removed the unsafe actual link info)

Weird message saying this (URL broken up to prevent accidental clicks) - I never made a booking, and reported it as spam:

Received an SMS to advise of booking which I had made with hotel but date and time are wrong. Scam - just deleted.

Caller: Fake booking

I’d say it’s a scam text message came in on one of my girl’s phones about an hour before reservation was supposed to take place. Booked The Taste Italian Grill for 4 with a opn.tl link. Problem is the Grill is in Sydney and we are in Melbourne. Blocked.
