I received the same sms Mason Black + Mendelsons. scammers !

Caller: Allegedly Transport for NSW

You have an overdue balance - I feel this is a scam so

I received a text message saying that recoveriescorp was taking over my account and to call a number. I called the number and they couldn’t tell me what company they were with. Every time I asked they asked for my details which I refused to give to them or they would say we can only speak to the person whose account it is and I said I’m just asking a general question, I just want to know what company your with. They then asked me how I got their number and I said via text then they wanted me to tell them the name of the company on the text and which I refused to give them. I continued to ask what company they were with and who they were representing and he couldn’t tell me. I ended up telling him that it’s a scam and I needed to report him so thank you, that’s all I need to know and I hung up without giving them any personal information.

Claiming To Be RESIMAC relating to a partial refund.

Received an sms pretending to be from recoveriescorp. The phone number in the SMS is not recoveriescorp and is instead a scam call Center pretending to be recoveriescorp.

claimed to be Mason Black + Mendelsons and to call a 1300 132 859 to quote a reference number or click on a link for details - no other info
Same company name multiple texts with various numbers, have kept blocking their number and they have gotten a new number.

SMS saying they represent recoveriescorp and re: a bundll account that was fraudulently opened in my name.

My ph# was hijacked during my identity theft, but have recently recovered it.

When I did, there were a few msgs and calls attached to my number obviously from when it was in the hands of the prick who stole it.

This was one, and said prick *did open an account w bundll (and paypal and afterpay and the rest...) to purchase goods w my money, but all transactions were reversed so the prick might indeed owe a lot of people a lot of money.

Regardless, I haven't opened any of the msgs, nor called any of the numbers in the logs from when I didn't have ownership of my #.

Re debt from 2.5 years ago from Origin Energy. Asked them to send tax invoice as evidence and I would raise with origin energy directly. Nothing received. Total Scam!!!!! They have even set up a 1300 number.
