Panthera Finance debt collectors persistent annoying debt collectors ring from various mobile numbers every second day !

A finance company works to retrieve other institutions debts. This works if they are assigned the debt by the institution. It DOES NOT WORK if they have bought the loan (at a huge discount) from the institution. Debt collectors buy a bunch of loans from the bank for "pennies in the dollar". Tell the person who rings you that they have no PRIVITY OF CONTRACT. (look it up) Never admit the debt and tell them to stop harassing you. It can actually be a lot of fun if you know what you are doing. Stick to your guns, record all calls and sooner or later they will threaten you, For example, saying they will call all your family and associates to tell them your situation. ALL threats are illegal. ANY threats are illegal. Remember, debt collectors buy the debt for a pittance and rely on you to be dumb enough not to know this.

Phoned looking for someone else (wrong phone). Would not identify name of organisation - and gave a dodgy ABN. Clear breech of the Consumer Code, so a small call will be happening to the ACCC.

This has to breach harrassment and privacy laws. Just made a petition - it's time these businesses got their karma returned.

Let's shut these a**holes down - force change and fight for our rights to privacy - for our choice not to be contacted by telemarketers, charities or other entity trying to get details or money - and for protection from scam calls. These businesses should not be operating.

They ring all day everyday ,all hours day and night , different numbers . They just keep on harrassing you

they are trying to collect from a old car crash that was settle out of court over ten years a go . now they claim that if I do not pay in seven days they will take the house that I live in. which the amount is $5,000 I told them that you can not claim any of the that because of legal . and it was over ten year a go. anything that's over 5 years can be claim I have talk to a lawyer over this call they said if do legal action will take place against Panthera

they been ring me every seen I got a new phone number about every two weeks for over the last few months they new my name but will not let me know what its about I ring them back five times diffident some times its a male next its a female I told them do not call this number again . happened tonight so told them I will call the cops.

Have no debts so have no idea why these idiots are ringing my husbands mobile. I am blocking all the numbers but they seem to have an endless supply of different numbers.
