Hung up when answering machine cut in. I could the number back and it is disconnected. Obviously some sort of scam. Surely the telco's need to take some responsibility here. How are they allowed to ba making calls from a disconnected number? Seems as long as someone is paying a bill, Optus (in this case) or Telstra don't care who does what. Same with all these callers from overseas who have purchased a local number, obviously intent on misleading Aussies!

Called about solar panels and identified me with our correct street address. Has called since and hangs up. How do i block tjis number on a landline. Bloody cons and time wasters
