Caller: various names

Most definitely scammers - Asked if I was aware of the tax incentives and deductions that are available as a home owner. The moment I mentioned my occupation (accountant/tax agent/auditor), they immediately hung up. It would be considered highly unusual for the ATO to dedicate resources to utilising cold calling approach to promote a tax incentive / deduction, which is available to eligible Australian taxpayers. Generally notification is by way of statement & / or documentation via methods such as the budget, media release, website for example.

The same number has shown on several calls if have received, on a couple the voices sounded similar (no name, mumbled, Josh, Trent, Colin & Sarah). My phone doesn't appear to have a blocking function, so have directed calls from this number straight to voicemail (shame I can't leave a personal message just for that number).

I think I got done handing out my address .... fell like a dumb ass

when I said I wasnt the person he called he hung up immediately. Persistent as I can see he has tried to call each day this week.

There is no such thing as The Australian Institute of Research. This is a front used to get your details and sell you things. Blocked the number but they tend to call back with a different number.

annoying everyday

over the last couple of days ive had several calls from this number which comes up saying suspected spam caller

Didn’t leave voicemail I called back their message bank is full. Gov should be looking into these f*cktards and banning them from having mobiles and also breathing
