Strange phone call from a man wanting to put my business on a database online. Claimed it was a ‘free service’ with a company I’d never heard of.
I don’t know if he spoofed the number or not. It’s possible it was a phishing scam or something of the like.
He also claimed my business had no online presence, but that he had tracked down my business online.
The phone call ended abruptly by me swearing and hang up in the man’s ear as he simply wouldn’t take no for an answer and continued talking over the top of me.
