Scammer saying I spoke to them about my mortgage.
When I told him I haven’t spoken to anyone apart my bank about a mortgage he started going off saying I’m calling him a liar.

Caller: They called and heard my voice and hand up

I think it is a scammer , because they think they can’t get anything from hearing my voice

Yes, called saying we discussed about mortgage (we didn't) and started asking personal information. When I said I was not going to give him any information he quickly hung up. How do we find the registrant of the mobile number?

Said they were referred from "Peter" about my mortgage, and could get 1% better than my loan with big 4 banks. Said I don't have a mortgage with any of the big 4 and asked where they were calling from. Then said they were referred from their executive George who I had been dealing with. I pointed out it was Peter a moment ago and they then said "Ah yeah, it's, ah George Peters" at which point he realised he'd blown his cover and hung up.

Gave me 4 missed calls in a row (within 1 minutes) but left no voicemail. Seriously not genuine caller or else they would have left me some idea to call them back.

It seems to be untraceable and possibly fraudulent
