SCAM - unsolicited phishing text message that says: "NAB: An attempted PayID payment of $499.95 to Laura Hickens was attempted on 07/01. If this was NOT you please call us now on (08) 6629 6714" Both the amount of the alleged attempted payment and the number listed at the end of the message are LINKS, which I would assume grant remote access to the phone for the scammers to gain access to personal information for nefarious reasons. Luckily for me, THIS particular SMS message was easy to spot as a fraudulent one ... I have both deleted the message and blocked the number.

Scam for sure! In the SMS I received they asked to follow a link from NAB bank (I don't have an account there)

Luckily for me, THIS particular SMS message was easy to spot as a fraudulent one ... I have both deleted the message and blocked the number.
