Just had a call from this number. Hung up when I answered.

Same here - no one talks when I answer. Why can't this number be disconnected by the phone company!

Bloke rang up and said was a tax refund scheme. Wanted my banking details for a fee of $49. I told him to piss off. Hung up on him. He hasn't called back. SCAMMERS

Completely over it. We have had 8 identical calls from numerous different numbers in the last 24 hours. Time to disconnect our number I think.....

Rings 2-3 times a day hangs up after 1-2 seconds

so fed up rings constant , and until i looked this up thought it may have been a relative in a accident or something, this scammers need to be stopped :(

I got the same. Keeps calling but no one answers. I am suspecting it's an automated system that calls to identify active numbers. The list can then be sold to telemarketers. Same as email sniffing programs. If no one answers in 1-2 secs, just quickly hang up.

keeps calling my house phone then after a few seconds hangs up. If I go and call the number back it says the person I am calling is not available
