When I called back the number it said optus advises that this number has been disconnected. So I blocked the number

This number tried to call my work (government) issued mobile phone today, and our built-in IT security system immediately blocked it as known spam!

Both my partner and I received called 30 mins apart and both times we were hung up on. Block.

Ring without leaving message. Obvious scam

This caller has rung before but because I had blocked it before it didn’t ring and disturb/annoy me this time

Called twice in quick succession, didn't leave a voice mail. Called back but got a pre recorded message saying that "Optus advises that this number has been disconnected".

I called back it stated
"This number has been disconnected."

Missed two calls from them in the same minute, my phone said the call came from Australia, not specifying where. Called back a few times, but it never rang through and heard a voice stating that optus advised this number as disconnected. Defs some kinda scam.
