Caller: Recorded message from "Nicole" Advising my NBN has been compromised and is about to be disconnected. Told me to press a number to be put through to a technician. I did this to discover a call centre person in the sub-continent telling my IP address was pinging from California and that my NBN would be disconnected, which I disputed as my service is provided by Aussie Broadband. Then I was asked whether I would like the NBN number to call, to which I said 'yes' and then the call was disconnected. I reported this to Aussie Broadband as well.
