Phone rang three times then hung up with call back number. Didn't answer but suspect scam!

Indian female for me. As soon as she said hello and I could hear the background chatter of a call centre I asked "Is this about a supposed car accident" and she quickly hung up. Same thing had happened the night before but the number had come up as 0428 762 310

Caller: A person with an sub continental/south asia accent

Person was asking if I had been in a car accident in the last 10 days. Got very irate when I asked him for details and also my car registration number. Scam to get you to provide personal details. In the end he hung up.

Had a call from another number re my "recent car accident" and another missed call from this number so am assuming it was the same person.

Called & said they new about my car accident

Same here. I mentioned a Car I never had and an accident I never had and it confused him. He ended up hanging up.. Try it, its fun

Auto dialler and dropped call into operator with indian accent. Stated calling about how I had been named in a CTP Personal Injury car accident claim and that I owed money resulting from the injury claim. HA HA HA I dont have a car, I dont drive and never had an accident. SCAM
