Received a call to my work number from a lady saying from the ABC or AVC group and talking about a $10k grant from the government, but needed to have at least $150,000 in equity or assets to qualify. Said do not have this, she quickly thanked for my time and hung up.

They claim to be from the "ABC Group", woman started talking about a 10K government grant being offered - but you'll need to invest it in order to get it. Invest with them, presumably. I said I didn't believe her and that there's no such thing as a free lunch! :P
