Caller: Scammer PayPal Scam SMS 07-Apr-2023
Message Read:
PAYPAL, 990771 Is your Security Code to complete a Transaction of AUD 1790.00 on 2023-Apr-o7, If any dispute, Contact us: 1800 343 973 to stop transaction.
Then there was an additional attachment that had the label 990771 as the code.
Possibly the attachment code contained a script that would do stuff.
I logged on to PayPal - saw that there was no transaction of $1790 on my account on 07-Apr.
