Got a call from this number last night. when I answered, after a slight delay, they hung up. I didn't call back as I thought it might be a scam.

Called back this number and was a call centre trying to sell insurance and products.

Answer phone, pause, nothing, then they hang up.

Scammers known at the Australian Contact Centre. Treat carefully.

This number called me - someone selling products for Insurance Line. She appreciated me being so polite so I gather they are getting a mouthful on the back of their cold calls.

Had this number call trying to sell life and funeral insurance. Politely declined then i hung up!

Absolutely beware this number. Obviously a scam trying to get a recording of your voice saying 'yes', which, as I have recently been warned, is a very powerful tool to get into your accounts and do all sorts of mischief. They rang me, asked whether it was okay 'for training purposes' to record our call. I said 'no' and they immediately hung up.
Scam uncovered! Spread the word! I believe these people are fraudsters.
