message from "Medicare" stating that I have been in close contact with someone who has contacted Omicron, and I must order a PCR test from a website they provide.
Looks like scammers as it should read 'contracted' Omicron not 'contacted', so they can't even get their grammar right. I didn't click on the site.

Caller: From this number The message says: "You have been in close contact with someone who has encountered Omicron. You must book a free PCR Test Kit at: medicare.pcr-booking.com" This is now that we do not even check in when we enter to different places, basically there is no tracking system available any more. When I clicked on the link it took me to the website that "seems" to be the PCR booking website. They ask for your personal information.

This is a very savvy organised international scammer (read d*ckhead moron retard) who will message your phone from the above number using a variety of scams to get your personal info, eg ‘Please recharge your plan now to avoid any restrictions’ by using the website optus-recharge.cc/verify, but they also use the ploy of telling you have won a gift card, etc etc. they have a web of international links in : Iran, Russia, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Turkey. AND if you happen to actually call the number back, you will immediately get hit with multiple scam calls from these countries. Let’s screw these people over. Report them. Harass them. Humiliate them. Report to : Optus, Scamwatch, Cyber.com and every other org that documents these type of idiots.
