Scam message reads - "UPDATE: You paid $4699 for Kryptall Black 128GB Smart phone at AMZ, Order #23521488AF On 2021-04-29. Helpline ((08) 7200 7080. Thank you"
Poor punctuation, American date order and AMZ sents off alarm bells - not to mention I didn't purchase anything! BEWARE.

Caller: A big scam. Legit don’t press the link I received this, it’s obviously a scam. Don’t be fooled into pressing the link. No legit company sends you a text message saying you’ve won. They’d either call you or email. (even then, don’t trust the email. If the email contains a specific store, such as “jb hi fi liverpool”, then call the store by getting the number from google. They’ll either confirm or deny they have any competition) This is what they sent me, and they’ll use a variation of these kind of texts. Block and report these numbers
Hello “first name (I don’t know how they got my first name)“. You've purchased an item in JB (stres) last year and entered our draw by this! You have w0n a gift: be0x.me/N5NR7V61

Getting these daily for the last few weeks from random mobile numbers (probably faked). I block the number but the next day it's from a different number.
The message varies but is basically the same: Using your first name they'll apologise or suggest that you'll lose credits or have a service suspended if you don't click on the link by a given time.
Think link (various) all go to a fake news page about some secret government scheme to use your super with crypto-currencies. Basically an all out scam.
Interestingly they know my first name which suggests they harvested it from somewhere (I don't use my real name online).

Got this message as a text Carol, we were unable to post your transaction. Update details or forfeit: https://lefvk.xyz/yxj6zk I did not click on the link because I don’t know what this is for. Scary as I do a lot of online shopping and could miss an important message because of scammers 🤬🤬🤬
