Caller: Some lady

Left a message for me wanting to give me a free fridge for my business. I called the number back, she was startled but nice and she wanted a email. I gave it to her not knowing it was a scam at the time. she said all the information would be in the email. Only dimensions of the fridge was given, information like my business name and the false information Last name I gave her so I knew they were scammers and knew nothing about me since they didn’t question me. I looked up the scam. They dump a fridge at your door and register it with the government. This entitles them to have a rebate as it’s under their name. The fridge costs less than the rebate they get and the fridges are sometimes faulty. They pocket the money, your left with a fridge that could burn the business down and they sell your email and run. Easy scam.
