Caller: Amazon?? I had a call from this number earlier today to hear a recorded message to say that my Amazon Prime subscription was being renewed at a cost of $99.00. The message went on to say, press "1" if you wish to cancel your subscription or speak to a representative. I pressed "1" to speak to a representative. A gentleman answered. I told this person that I had been advised that my Amazon Prime subscription was being renews. I told this person that I don't have and have never had an Amazon Prime account. I was in the process to telling him that i would be reporting this call to Scamwatch. He hung up. I believe the purpose of this call was to scam me for personal information or money. I will be reporting this to Scamwatch.

The message went on to say "press 1" if you wish to cancel the subscription or talk to a representative. Of course I pressed "1" and waited. A representative answered me. I told him I had been advised that my Amazon Prime subscription was being renewed. I told him I don't have an Amazon Prime account and have never had one. I also told him that I suspect that he does not work for Amazon. Guess what?? He just hung up. I will be reporting this incident to Scamwatch.
