Definitely do not respond to this caller - apparently they've hacked into the list of donors to this good cause.

Received a series of text messages addressing me by my first name, apparently from Hamlin Fistula Foundation, which I have supported previously. Step 1 - asked if I would complete some survey questions via sms. I ignored it at first but got a follow up request the next day. Step 2 - I was sent three very simple questions which required quick answers such as 'yes' or a number rating their charity. Step 3 - I received a thank you message two days later. Step 4 - One hour after that I received another thank you message, this time with a link to download an online cookbook. I had completed steps 1 to 3 because, apart from confirming my phone number is valid, I couldn't see how the scam was going to take place. I didn't click the link as that's clearly where they want you to download malware.

Random SMSs allegedly from Karen from Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation. "We've not spoken before, so I hope you're well..." Described the organisation and sent a URL to a "short video with a bit more about us" which I didn't click as it seemed suspicious.

Invited me to a short survey over SMS next week.

No idea how they got my number or part of my name but I didn't respond (& Blocked Caller).
