Caller: Telstra tech dept

He sounded surprised I picked up, lol. Calling from noisy South Asian call centre. Scam, I don't even use Telstra.

She said, I am calling from Telstra re your internet. And asked me are you the user of this number. I asked her " Do you know the name of user since you are calling me?", She said I don't have your name, I only have your number. Spam.

Same as the others Telstra Tech call hackers have hacked my PC and they want me to let them into my PC so they can fix it, i just said you dumb #@&% di you think we live in a cave.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Overseas call centre long delay before talking. Said my internet was reporting errors. I told them I believed it was a scam. The lady offered to give me her Telstra Id. I told her I didn’t believe her. She said my internet was going to be disconnected. I told her to go ahead and she hung up.

Called to say from Telstra been monitoring my internet,told him to get a real job

Missed call twice on two days, no message left therefore i didn't phone back because it is probably a scam. Reading these comments I think I was correct.

They want to fix my internet connection but it is perfectly fine. Hangup and block

0429 865 900 called me telling me someone was using my internet. This person couldn't even tell me who she was talking to.....scam for sure....I have blocked the number

Pretending to be Telstra Tech Dept.
I called them a scammer, he called me a beggar with no money and hung up!

The Person on the line claimed to be from Telstra support. clearly wasn't didn't validate who i was. Said my computer was infected and need to be scanned.
to me to a websites https://validator.w3.org/. Then wanted me to install and run Anydesk.
Anydesk is a remote access program used by scammers to gain access to you data.
DO NOT Proceed.SCAM.

Caller: Scam “Telstra Technical Dept”

Scammer, seeing as I have no Telstra accounts I was not expecting this call and the foreign accent/lots os background noise made me suspicious. I immediately asked “oh are you trying to scam me out of some money” he answered “you have no money you beggar” - pot calling the kettle black! I laughed, he hung up! Hopefully they blacklist my number???

Missed a call, so called back and got the (spam) pause before the call-centre sounding person answered, so hung up.

called our unlisted mobile, we never answer if it is not in our contacts list. They didn't leave a message, so assume it was an unwanted call. Deleted and blocked
