Caller: Fake Telstra

Claimed to be Telstra with big bill discounts. They knew the email associated with my phone number, and very concerningly I got a message on my authenticator app right before the call came in that someone was trying to access that email. I confronted them about 2min into the call but I imagine these 'big discounts' might have needed me to approve the authentication!

Caller: India

Caller knew my name and claimed to be from Telstra. Asked if I had any issues with my service, then when I said I wasn't with telstra tried to say many of our customers have moved away and wanted to know who.

When I said Indian telecom she stuttered a bit and then said i have the wrong number.

Caller: Scammer- fake telstra

Asked for verification code, likely a scam to use your number to sign up for a google voice account to scam more people. Don’t trust them!!

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Claimed to be Telstra offering an 80% discount off my mobile. Unfortunately for them I’m not with Telstra.

Said they were from Telstra, I said this is a scam, told me no, 5 different companies use Telstra and told me my email address. Offered a 40% discount, I hung up.

Caller: Indian lady Telstra scammer

Indian lady phoned on 20 June 2025. Claimed herself from Telstra. A real scammer. Just block her number !

Caller: Claming from telstra her name was Mary Brown id no was CP0095 sayung that they are going to give me a 40% discount on of my bill they new my birthdate rnag telstra today and they said it was a SCAM they dont ring up to say they are going to give you discounts

They can get your birthrate if social media be aware of this person

Hung up on me when I asked ' what colour the underpanty are you wearing ' ?

Caller: Indian lady said from Telstra.

Asked if had trouble with my internet and could get me 40% discount on my internet.
I said I’m not interested and she hung up

Indian lady spoke gibberish I answered but didn't speak, they hung up.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra

Indian lady claiming to be from Telstra asking if I had any problems with my internet connection, then offered me 40% off my Telstra account. When I explained to her that I didn’t understand why she was making this offer to me as I don’t have a Telstra account, she quickly said goodbye and hung up.
Conclusion. Scammer.

Second time this mob have tried- same as the others- Indian claiming to be from Telstra offering big discounts-40% of my phone bill- knew my email - blocked

Indian lady claiming to be from Telstra ... worryingly knew my name. I advised I don't have any accounts with Telstra and hung up whilst she was still talking
