Caller: Scammer After a two second pause, I was greeted with a robotic woman answering machine voice when I answered. Claimed to be trying to get in touch with me because my landline would be disconnected. I didn't bother listening to the whole thing, I just hung up, because I assumed I'd be given instructions to pay the scammer to "keep my landline active" or some such nonsense.
