Scam message. It looks like our goverment wont do anything to stop them.

Scam tracking link about fake parcel. BLOCK

Caller: Family member

This number is a family member’s and he has been receiving multiple calls and messages to him and for him. His number is legitimate but it is being spoofed by the scammers. He also gets heaps of the flubot messages about parcels and videos as well. He is becoming stressed about the very nasty messages some people leave him because his number is spoofed. He has stopped answering his phone and is at a loss on how to end the abuse he is receiving.

Message received: Video was stolen from your phone_fki_ followed by a link to click.

Received a text message that said “Who uploaded this video from my phone with a link. I did not click on the link. Blocked them straight away. Whatever you do, don’t click the link, they will install malware onto your device. A scam going around Australia at the moment is called the FluBot scam.

This annoying sms message came through to my mobile today.
“ Your ; / order was _y_ shipped http://iyibilgiler.net/b/xg/?gFT.8J&GL0-o1k9 “
I’m in Melbourne. Ever since using QR code due to Covid I’ve been getting these scams daily.
Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they’ve got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles & landlines????
