Caller: Supposedly Telstra Answered the call with a curt "hello" then waited to hear what they had to say. They said nothing but I could hear the noise of a call centre; then someone said something about our internet connection. They (Indian) said our surname but I did not speak to them and the call cut off. Nothing wrong with our internet - yet another scam/nuisance call.

Called my home phone number. Hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call.

Caller said that she was from Telstra Technical Department. Told her I didn't have the internet! Typical background noise emulating a busy office. Asked her for my Telstra account number which she could verify for me!!!
