Your Uber account code is **** - didn’t order one... they’re trying to get you to enter that code into your Uber account (if you have one) so they can access your linked account / credit card details- DONT DO IT!!! Just delete it- it’s a phishing scam!

When I called this number I was advised that "this number has been disconnected"

Anybody getting a random code thinks that somebody has hacked their account.
I did a lot of checking and found no problem with my account
All trips accounted for and no sign of fraudulent activity

Did not mention Uber, sms just stated account verification number is xxxx. So I deleted message.
