Text message letting me know that package is on track for delivery. Then a website link to track the delivery. Not expecting any deliveries. Definite SCAM. Number now blocked.

The "parcel delivery" scam texts come thick and fast - and from different numbers! Surely something can be done about this scam! Blocking the number is useless - the scammers use a different number nearly every time!!!

Text message says
“We were unable to deliver today, please tell us when to retry”
Then a web address. First message was 7:11am, next one at 10:33. I expect there’ll be more with different numbers I’ll need to block.
Very clever given most of us are in lockdown and are probably expecting deliveries. Luckily I’m not expecting anything right now otherwise I could’ve been tapped without thinking. Also the 7.11am delivery attempt? None of my deliveries have ever arrived that early. I’m also working from home so any deliveries could easily be made.

text received to say "unable to deliver" with link to click on - no company or delivery info.

Scam SMS

Message number 20 telling me about a parcel that I need to pick up(scam). They all come with different phone numbers on them which I have kept to present to Telstra. I have blocked all of these numbers. To say that I am not pissed off would be a lie, I AM FURIOUS.

SCAM Message, "Your delivery has - been canceled. To redirect it, confirm at...."
