SMS with Information about my son saying he his waiting treatment at WESTMEAD oral health clinic. He is not, I suspect a scam in relation to recent medibank hack, called number which is switched off

When I called back, I got a recorded message that this mobile phone is switched off or not in an area with coverage. Called around 7:30am, unknown to us. Suspect scammer

This is the universal phone number nsw health uses to inform you of out patient appointments. It is not a scam.

Caller: Crown princess Mary centre and haematology, Westmead NSW

I got a text a few months ago saying I had booked an appointment as someone named Janusz at some cancer and blood treatment hospital in NSW, I’m not even from that state, just today they sent me an appointment reminder,

sounds like someone is not getting treatment..
If anything whoever is adding these phone numbers probably also needs treatment for fat fingering the numbers.

I received a text message saying it’s NSW Health and concerns my health. Gave me a phone number to call and instructions of which option to select and then the sub-option next. Naturally, I won’t be calling this number . Scammers on the prowl!!!

I received an SMS a few days after an outpatient service at Westmead hospital with a link for feedback on my experience which looked very suspicious. I have now reported it to Westmead.

It's a number I blocked a year ago thank heavens as they called me at 12.20AM today. being blocked it didn't ring. Must be a scam.

This is a legitimate number for the hospital.

Sent an SMS saying they are from the Gastroenterology team in Nepean Hospital asking me to confirm my appointment.
Probably a scam after googling this number, multiple people reported something about Nepean.

This number keeps calling my husbands phone multiple times a week, his phone is rarely turned on but they keep trying.

Text message - arrived 4am announcing I'd missed call (which I hadn't) and that I now had a message waiting. Gave website address (at avoyrakib.com). Not going to check it.
