Received an unsolicited text message from "Harry" today stating that he is a volunteer with yes.org.au and asking if I support gay marriage rights for Australians. I don't give out my number so I'd really like to know how the heck they got my phone number on whatever list they have and why they think it's appropriate to send these unsolicited political messages directly to people who did not opt in to their contact? Imagine if the other side was doing the same thing ie. texting masses of Australians private mobiles pushing their agenda to VOTE NO? So inappropriate and an astonishing invasion of privacy displayed by yes.org.au.
