Hang up as soon as answer, another scam

Didn't recognise number so asked to leave a message. They didn't. Now i'm here, looking up the number. Scammers!

Said they were from Amazon Prime going to charge me $99 for Prime. Thsi was scary as I have just been in touch with Amazon to cancel my account. They did talk to me and I told them that the price was incorrect and they hung up on me. Had I not been expecting a call from Amazon to confirm my cancelled account I never would have taken the call. How did they get my number - I would love to know as Amazon say I could have been hacked a variety of ways and it is not their responsibility.

Some rude Indian....was very aggressive when I said didn't want what they were selling

A recorded female voice purporting to be from Amazon told me that my Amazon account (which I don't have) was about to be debited unless I followed their instructions. Same old scam.

Caller: “Amazon” Scam call

Scam call telling me amazon prime service has been renewed. I was connected to one of the scammers who told me to download the “assist client” app to enter the cancellation code to cancel the service. This app is actually a remote access app which would have given him access to my phone. It asks for a “session key” which he tried to convince me is a cancellation code. But it’s actually a key to allow him access to my device.

The scary thing is he had all my information. Name, work and home address and last four digits of my credit card. Cancelled my card straight away.

Called at 7.30pm Indian voice asked my name which he knew. Then nothing after.
Scam for sure.

Tried to get bank details...to an account I dont have

0426 894 399 getting constant calls from this number; saying they are from Amazon & my account is going to be debited all different amounts. Fed up with having to block numbers all the time. Scammers need to be charged.

Scammer. Also when trying to call the same number it is disconnected. Another different number will try to call you again.

Missed call, no message.
Always the same with unknown numbers not leaving messages - it's usually a scam.

Beeping noise on the other side

Scammer. An Indian guy said he's from Telstra. Told him that I'll report to Police and he hung up.
