The Social Research Centre will call you shortly to take part in a survey on safety and crime in your area on behalf of the police. It wants you to follow prompts. When you have police in the family there is no way they would send these messages out randomly. Absolutely a scam so BEWARE and delete the message and block the number.

The Social Reseach Centre appears to be affiliated with the ANU. The website provided links from the ANU website https://rsss.cass.anu.edu.au/social-research-centre. Appears to be legit but haven't heard back from them as of yet
