These parasites have been calling non stop on different numbers for the last 3 hours. 4 times just while tying this.
Stop calling me, stop calling my parents, stop calling my neighbours. Shut your wide greedy eyes and stop rubbing your hands together. Just like this debt, you dont exist to me.

Don't give them the time of day.

Initially what I thought might be a $500 debt bought by a previous debt collector who claimed I owed them $10,000 so I Tried to do the right thing and contacted to request more detail. Never once suggesting I knew anything about that they claim I owed. Whilst waiting for them to provide they took it to court. They blatantly lied to the court and I refuse to the core to be bullied into paying money I do not owe using outright illegal tactics. 6 months later without any payments they sell for $16.000 fave value to these bozos. They are even ripping each other off now. Previous company has already made a healthy profit.
I fail to see how any of what they do is legal. Greedy parasites.
I can’t even trust them to pick up the phone and try to find the origin of this debt.

I believe collectors pay approx 4% of the debt. Why not make one last offer to the debtor of 5% or 8% before sale. Instead of lining their pockets with others misery.

One of the hundreds of numbers they try to call from. Have used crazy tactics to try to make contact but when they won’t disclose who they are and I don’t agree with their ways I refuse to deal with them.
Have called neighbours I don’t even know to door knock at my house and make contact. Have somehow found records of my private landlord and they have made comments of “we know you live in —so and so’s— house”, called a very random and distant acquaintance and discovered this must have come about from a Facebook profile pic 6 years ago in which this person commented on and said they would text me... dodgy and sly. Won’t ever disclose who they are without all your personal information first and refuse to disclose where they obtain private information or these other contacts from. They’ll never get a cent out of me.

I have recently been starting to get calls from this company. Do not ever talk to them. What they do is completely illegal illegal and they are snakes. They will pretend they are other companies and will lie in order to try and get information about you or others. Never, ever, ever discuss anything. They try to get you to disclose your ID before they even say who they are. Do not answer the phone if you don't know the number. If you don't recognise the number, don't answer the call. If they're legit they'll leave a message, including ID, and you call back, like with normal people. They tried to call again from the same mobile number. I blocked them. I don't owe anyone any debts. I am not discussing things with any dodgy company that is about nothing and only about them getting information they do not need. This company should be jailed.

I spoke to one of them a while back, he said to me that when he pays $1000 for a $15000 debt that he expects to get the $15000, I pointed out that he doesn't have a contract with me and that he'd done his dough, he almost cried.

Yes they buy debt from where or who and God knows when & they continually try to hassle your family and friends into giving them information but don’t give them anything just block them and don’t reply as they have no right or legal recourse, they’re just parasitic scum.

Caller: Looking for random acquaintance

Called me asking about how to contact a random school mum acquaintance from years ago. "I said I don't even know who that is". He was very polite but did not identify who he was calling from. I don't know whether he was trawling old school directories or what but the connection between myself and the other party was tenuous at best so I have no idea why I came up in his search.
Absolutely appalling behaviour if this is a creditcorp tactic.

Thanks for the heads up. Rule No. 1.
Never answer phone unless you know who’s calling.
Too many scammers around that want your cash.
Let them leave a message and only call back once you know the caller.

SCAM. Hang up and block the phone number.

My experience:

This was the dodgiest phone call I've ever received.

When the person answered he said his name was Sanna. When I let him know that I had received a missed call from this number and that I was calling back, he took a few moments before letting me know that his name was Ramesh and that he was trying to reach out to [first name of person that I know].

I asked him where he was calling from, how he got my phone number and the reason for his call. He let me know that he can't disclose where he's calling from unless I confirm who he's speaking to. I refused to let him know my name unless he told me where he was calling from (because wtf?!).

This went on for a little while before I told him that there are online forums with dozens of complaints about this phone number that say that "calls from this number are from people who claim to work from 'Credit Corp,' can you confirm that you work for this company?" ... After a while he finally gave in and confirmed that he did work there.

He asked me to ask [the person I know] to call Sanna back on this mobile number.

I told him that I will definitely will not be passing on this message onto the person that I know because this was the most dodgy conversation I've ever had. Just because he was pissing me off, I asked him if I provide the phone number on the Credit Corp group website 1800 221 414 https://www.creditcorp.com.au/) to the person he's calling for, whether they would be pointed to the correct person. He said no. Geez.

I asked him to remove my phone number from their database and never to call me again.

I will not be passing on any details to the person I know.

The don't have different mobile numbers. They use a landline and go through a VPN which creates a different mobile based on where the VPN is accessed. I don't actually mind them calling 3 or 4 times a day. I know it frustrates them and it pisses them off. I don't think they like my choice of radio station I pick for them to listen to. My favourite is the Arabic news hour on abc radio. Answer and then place the phone beside the radio. They usually hang up after a few minutes. They also troll all these sites trying to get evidence on you. They are ex cops and know all the tricks. Unfortunately for them, we know them too 😂😂😂

Keep calling using different numbers. Seeking someone who is not me. They persist, total nuisances. Do not answer this caller. Block number if you can.

My 18 year old son got a new phone from Optus and these idiots call him three times a week. He has had the phone 5 weeks and has no outstanding debts what so ever as he only turned 18 two months ago. So he is a guy who pays debts and he has none other than the phone. So it is not worth saying to people to pay their debts as most like him have an old mobile number and no matter what he says they keep calling. What do we do
to stop it

they keep calling me friends, family members looking for another family member, people in the directory with the same last name, they even said they had the right to call neighbours or workplaces for information about the debtor when I questioned them about my right to not be contacted. It's not my debt.

spoke with creditcorp about an outstanding debt, agent was polite and professional a little pushy tho, If this number is calling you, you probably have an outstanding debt so stop being a piece of sh*t and answer the phone?

Ok so where do i start with MARTIN everyone here realise this clown is a dumb F#+@.

Those of you who have chosen or simply cannot repay debt to these corporations to stay strong and continue not paying as you never signed no contract or agreed to paying any credit recovery business who brought the debt for a fraction of the owed amount they are all thevies banks make money from nothing banks create poverty banks create wars.
