Called selling solar panels. Asking questions about home ownership and he knows your name. When you ask what company he is calling from he hangs up.

Caller: Patrick - Selling Solar Panels

Something about selling solar panels / solar panel upgrade - when I advised this was a work number 'Patrick' told me that I had a really beautiful voice and wanted to talk about me. Sounded like calling from an international call centre with automatic dialler (3 second pause before connected through). Unsolicited call.

Tried calling back - couldn't connect. Guess its the same solar panel people...

Caller: Jason from somewhere

Could hardly understand him. Something about solar panels. Told him it was a random call that I wouldn’t accept and I hung up.

hung up on me mid sentence when I was explaining I was in the solar industry....nice

Caller: Selling Government Funded Solar Panels

I advised him I was on the 'Do Not Call' register. He didn't know what that was, so I made it clear to him "DO NOT CALL". Then I blocked the number.
By the way, these callers are scammers

Called me too and when I told him I was on the 'do not call' register, he moaned "whyyyy" over and over. Sounded like a very drunk Indian weirdo.

Caller: Mike

Indian accent. Green solar. Refuses to provide business address or ABN. Wanted to make an appointment. Told me my number came from Australian Lifestyle Survey.

Hung up on me when I said we already had solar panels. Called from a mobile

the number called and listen to my name as I generally say ... hi, this is xxxxx here. And then the number disconnects.

Didn't leave a message. When I called back the number was not being recognised.

Have called me multiple times. Calls ignored.

Caller: Green Solar

Call from a company claiming to be doing solar rebates. I'm on the do not call list - and when I mentioned it's illegal to call someone on this list he claimed he wasn't a scammer, and got my details from the government. Knew my full name. There was a 10 second delay in hearing his voice, so suspect it's an international scam using Australian mobile numbers.
