Caller: "An internet provider" (Definitely not an internet provider)

I decided to answer ... Old mate said he was calling about my NBN, I said I don't have NBN, he said he was calling about my internet line, I said I don't have an internet line just my phone, he said yes I'm calling about your phone line I said oh so you're with Optus? - he said Yes I'm with Optus I said I'm not with Optus ... you get the idea. I eventually asked him to tell me exactly what he is calling for and he said he's calling about my broadband, I said "I do not have broadband" and he hung up.

Given the variety of different comments on here regarding this number, it's safe to say this is never going to be someone you actually want to hear from.

Used Amazon for the first time a few weeks ago and now I get a spam call about Amazon prime taking money from my account. Hang up and block this number its a scam!

Just had a phone call from this number telling me he took money out of my visa I said I don’t have one then I said you are a scammer and he called me a bitch

Scam - voice recording advising my internet service was going to be disconnected due to illegal activity and to press 1 to speak to someone. Number now blocked

Automated voice claiming to be from National Broadband Network, saying my landline and internet will be disconnected in 24hrs - Press 1 to be connected to a technician. Total Scam. I don't have landline or broadband. Blocked number.

scammer, no message left - Part of a global scamming group as is part of a ring that scams on many numbers - including calling on your own number, or a very similar number, dont answer, just block - Answering gives them knowledge that the number is active. Then the active number can be sold to other scammers. No answer and block gives them nothing

Tried to say they were from traffic management and crashes saying I have been in an accident. Complete scam wanting money

I asked who they were, they had my name and they said they were calling about an accident I had had a few months ago - Definitely a scam

strangely this got through my blocked list!!!!! , they never leave a message.

Automated It said its from Telstra and that they’ve been trying to contact me for days and will disconnect my landline, which is non-existent anyway. Block this number!

Automated voice claiming to be from the national broadband network

Scam. Says I've had a minor accident in the last two years.... load of rubbish.

Reserve Bank apparently, stating that there had been money laundering occurring with my account.

I got a call from this number today too. I have been getting other automated calls about my Amazon account but not from this number. So I think this particular scam uses a range of numbers. I didn't know about this web site. I will make sure I log other dodgy numbers and scams here too!

I just said hello & there was an automatic message saying goodbye then it hung up and won’t let me call back?
