Received the following text "hi ddad, my phone just broke, this is my new number, text me back please."
Apart from the ridiculous claim that a broken phone requires a new number (all you do is move the sim card to a new phone and you automatically retain the same number) my kids can all spell "dad" correctly and don't have any problems with their phones.
This is almost certainly a scam call that leads on to "please send me some money so I can pay for the new phone ...."
