told him i looked his number up and it came up as a scammer and he hung up after that. Tried to tell me he was with the local firebrigade. Always happy to donate to real groups.

Again on December 1st, despite blocking this number it still seems able to call my phone. Starting at 6.55am today.

I have contacted the above journal mentioned by Les and they say they haven't been calling me.

Despite thinking I've blocked this number, they tried me again this morning, at 6.55 am. I won't be answering any more of their calls and won't be putting an ad in any of their journals.
They then switch so the number reads 'private' and keep trying on that.

Multiple calls from this number at 7.45 am, I was still in bed and finally decided to answer (as I have advertised with other journals and despite not being able to afford more, they seem to pass on my details to others) and they hung up.

Says he’s from ANZSEBP Police science journal thanking me for advertising in the past and asking me to advertise in the next issue. I got taken in by a similar mag about 20 years ago when we were starting out Not since then.
He says They appreciate our support and they support us.
Says the he (local police) send people (customers) to our business and drive by at night to make sure our premises are ok.
He has emailed and now rings constantly and I don’t take his calls.
Has anyone heard of them?
