Received spam link from number, called it. Man who answered seemingly had no idea what I was talking about, conversation went a little like:-

Man (sounded vaguely foreign): hello?
Me: hi, I just got a text message from this number with some spam attached, just wondering if you knowingly sent that?
Man: no, I didn't send anything to this number.
Me: so you didn't lend your phone to anyone else who used it to send messages or anything?
Man (sounding decidedly more bogan-ish and "Aussie"): nah mate, someone's havin' a lend of ya
Me: ok, well, they're using your number to do so.
Man: not much I can do about that.
Me: well, at least now you know.
Man: ok, thanks. -essentially hung up on me-

Just saying, but if someone were using my number for unapproved purposes, pretty sure I would find something that could be done about it. Not sure if person on phone actually of foreign descent and completely aware or just disinterested bogan. Don't really care, just getting sick of spammy links getting sent to my number (which isn't something I give out to randoms).
