Caller: Health Spotter on behalf of Health Insurance Comparison

Received phone call and first thing they asked was if I had private health insurance. I didn't tell them I did (none of your business). Requested more info about what and who they were and they just said they were 'like the ads on tv for choosi etc.' and that they could help me with a better deal. Caller was a bit grumpy and rather patronising because I asked questions about their business and why they were calling. I just said no as I don't do anything on unsolicited calls. Second call from this lot and on different mobile numbers.

Healh Spotter, another so called Auusie company constantly breaking the law and ignoring the Do Not Call Register in their quest to blatantly spam as many people as possible. Shound be fined and banned from operating as an Australian business.

If there are any health spotter reps seeing this you are calling numbers listed on the do not call register. I'd suggest you stop this practice otherwise people will continue to report you as a scam or spam.

Caller was polite, wanted me to do a health insurance survey. I asked how they got my number and she said I would have entered a competition. I said I don't enter competitions (which I don't) and she asked if my name was Jenny, I said no. Caller said someone could have entered one digit incorrectly when entering their number, but no problem and she will remove me from their phone list. I thanked her, hung up and then blocked the number (just in case I got more calls).

She called at an inconvenient time and I couldn’t talk so she arranged to call back later. When she called back I apologized and said I didn’t want to pursue her services. (Wasn’t it an unsolicited call? ) and she said I’ve wasted her time! So rude!

Luke called to ask me how I was - got me paranoid and panicky.

I just attempted suicide two days ago. When I asked who he was, he wouldn’t say at first. I thought I might be being watched by authorities. Should I run away again, how did ‘they’ find me? Was it the police officers from the other day - was I under surveillance. He never mentioned insurance, he never got that far.

Nothing at all with these kind of calls - they are just trying to help me get a better deal,right? OK Luke, can you help me get through this Supreme Court case that is on at present, am I covered immediately for mental health?

Said "Im assuming you still have your policy..... ??" Said I didn't and call ended. I have no intention on changing...

'Emma' from 'HeatlhSpotter'. They want to know a few pieces of information - specifically part of your date of birth, postcode, email, and amount that you pay for health insurance. They will use this information for identity theft and then will hack into your bank account. If you have spoken to them, immediately change your passwords, and ensure that your mobile phone number cannot be changed over the phone (go to your phone provider and ensure that your mobile phone number can only be changed in person with a proper identity check). This is a very dangerous scam. Tell them nothing if they contact you, if you shared information with them, take action now!
