Caller: Service Australia This sounded like a scam because the recorded message I received was designed to scare me regarding taxes.

sounds like a scammer. I received a recorded message saying that charges are being brought against me by the government for taxes. When I pressed "1" to talk to someone and I asked what it was about, they hung up on me. Repeated attempts to call back on that number resulted in a request to leave a message.
