Caller: Lady pretending to be from Vodafone Lady said something about giving me 40% discount on my account (wouldn’t that be generous from Voda)! She asked for my 4-digit pin so she could send me a link via sms. Said I wasn’t interested and she goes: “don’t you wanna save money?” Hahah nice try, doll!

Caller: Scammer lady purporting to be from Optus She said that I was currently on a 40% discount on my mobile account and that she just wanted to verify my date of birth and she would then if I would give her my date of birth for verification she would give me a code to type in and that would apparently give me a continuation of another six months of my 40% discount. I asked her to tell me my date of birth if she knew who I was as a customer and she told me it was not company policy to give out a date of birth. Yeah right. I told her it was a scam and hung up.
