Caller: Scammer Text message claiming to be my child that has broken their phone. Message read: “Hi my lovely mother. Message me here if you need anything my mobile got damaged earlier so I had to swap numbers” Then later messaged to say they needed my credit card to help with the purchase. Always get the person messaging to clarify WHO THEY ARE. A scammer will give a stupid answer that doesn’t say a name, for instance: “the only one silly enough to break their phone”
