Trying to get you to change private health insurance, but don't come out and tell you. Dodgy scammers

Received call. Didn't know number

so annoying, still calling nearly every week

Had a call, stating it was Officeworks. Office works does not call from their private number. Appears like a voice recording, nosiy background. After trying to respond they hung up . When I tried to call back ,goes to answer phone. Certain scam call.

Called from an english sounding lady from Aussie Protect asking if I still had private health cover. I don't have private health and haven't for years. I hung up and blocked them

Compare health insurance. Asked if they will take me off their mailing list. Hope I don’t get a call back

I also got a call from Aussie Protect, Lady asked my name, family details & my health insurance company details and finally connected me to iSelect insurance guy for getting better health plan. He spoke to me 2 mins and call got disconnected after that. Good that I didn't give more details to them.

A man called from ‭0423 406 137‬ yesterday asking questions about my private health care and saying he was from iselect.
He asked for personal information which I wouldn’t give. He was pushy and I told him my husband would call if we were interested. I blocked his number.
Today I get another call from the same guy - different number “‭0423 406 137‬” saying he was following up on yesterday’s call.
When I told him we weren’t interested he got really pushy and rude and very insistent. After not getting what he wanted he just put the phone down on me.
iSelect has lost any potential customer in me if this is the type of sales people they allow to push their product.

I am always smart enough to not answer a phone number I don't recognize because of course its going to be a scam, wake up people, just do that.

A man with an Aussie accent answered. He wanted to know about my private health insurance, and wanted to see if I could get a better deal elsewhere. But he was very vague about who he was and who he works for. Maybe a broker? Anyway, I had to get off the phone call because I was at work, but I was thankful to get out of the call.

Call was from Aussie Protect - apparently advising me of changes to Health Insurance and wanted 10-15 mins of my time - "free service and well worth it" apparenlty!! I asked him not to call back.

Dodgy company indeed. these scammers are fishing for your information. I am looking to make a complaint on these types of people and phone numbers.

Phone rang, showed private number, I answered, caller immediately hung up.

Called but did not answer. No message. Wasted my time.

they constantly calling me, no voicemail.

Called and when I answered they hung up. Received a call shortly after as expected from an (03) number from Tassie and I did not answer as I know from experience it will be a scammer using a false number. Once they know you answer, your details are handed to the scumbags.

Asking which health insurance i'm with. None of his business.
